Use of the Royal Quinoa

  1. The Quinoa Grain is used essentially as a human food and in a minor scale for medicine products
  2. There are different consumer forms of this food: Grain, flakes, popcorn & flour
  3. As a subproduct of the quinoa plants there is the grass for animals and organic dung
  4. This ecological product guarantees a nutrition free from toxic and agro-chemical residues complying with norms of organic production

In Bolivia exists a minor industry of derived products of the quinoa such as:

  • In pasta with a 10 up to a 20 % of quinoa (noodles, fettuccini, caneloni & gnocci)
  • In prepared cereals (granola)
  • Quinoa bars with chocolate
