Use of the Royal Quinoa
- The Quinoa Grain is used essentially as a human food and in a minor scale for medicine products
- There are different consumer forms of this food: Grain, flakes, popcorn & flour
- As a subproduct of the quinoa plants there is the grass for animals and organic dung
- This ecological product guarantees a nutrition free from toxic and agro-chemical residues complying with norms of organic production
In Bolivia exists a minor industry of derived products of the quinoa such as:
- In pasta with a 10 up to a 20 % of quinoa (noodles, fettuccini, caneloni & gnocci)
- In prepared cereals (granola)
- Quinoa bars with chocolate
